TOWN HALL GATHERING
Neighbor by Neighbor is introducing a new series of townhall gatherings designed to provide deeper engagement with the community and meaningful information on timely issues affecting our area.
These open forums will bring together Neighbor by Neighbor staff and community leaders to share insights, answer questions, and engage in conversation about issues that matter to our neighbors.
Our first townhall will take place on Wednesday, November 4, from 5:45–7:30 p.m.
at The Vickers Theater, 6 N. Elm Street, Three Oaks.
Speakers will include:
Bob Murphy, Executive Director, Neighbor by Neighbor
Allyson White, Sr. Case Manager, Neighbor by Neighbor
Dr. Sarah Gendernalik, Co-Founder, The Nutrition Exchange, and founder of SBG Health Strategies
Together, they will share perspectives on the growing needs of individuals and families in our local communities and throughout Berrien County, including the challenges facing people who are struggling to meet basic needs.
What if one of our region’s greatest tools for improving health is already growing all around us? We’ll share how the Nutrition Exchange of Southwest Michigan is connecting local farms, food pantries, and community partners to move more fresh, nourishing food into the homes of our neighbors while making every food dollar work harder locally.
The townhall will also provide an opportunity for community members to ask questions, share their perspectives, and learn more about how we can work together to meet the need in our community.
We look forward to seeing you there.
